new ornament traditions?

This little ornaments was like a quarter! I couldn't pass it up. I saw it and immediately thought about one of my favorite childhood cartoon "David the gnome". It's been like a family tradition to add one new ornament per a person each year. So I say this one is mine for this year! Do you have any holiday traditions for Christmas?

Only that we put up the tree thanksgiving night, and my "babys first xmas" ornament is always the first one that goes up

That's a special one, isn't it? We have two little red animal ornaments that our son received his first Christmas and now they're almost antiques!
