The way of love is only ever the way of love. Love, love's way.

The way is more important than the way is the way.
When you become attached to the way, you lose your way.
The way itself is only ever the way of love, but it cannot be labelled love, because then the way misses the way altogether, because you follow the labelled way of love then, rather than the real way of love.
"Success is simple. Do what's right, the right way, at the right time."
Arnold H. Glasow, an American author, (1905 to 1998) said this.
I could alter this to read like this in relation to love:
"Love is simple. Do what's loving, in love's way, at love's time."

Yes, I agree with that.
God gives us all his gift of love alright, and he gives us the truths of that love which we can learn from it, but he also gives us each a special gift of our own too.
When we love another person in God's way, we give this gift to them in God's way too, and when we live from our own God-given gift, be it healing or wisdom, or whatever, this brings God's love to the fore in us from our living from his gift in ourselves, fully from his love.
God gives without any repercussions of his giving, it is a gift without strings attached, and we should love and live in the same way.

@sw8sincere Yes, I would also agree with you that God is great to us all!
I think that God would certainly seem to be very great to all of us, if we knew him too as Jesus does, and yet I am sure that God's own reply to us about his own greatness, would be something like this, that he is no greater than the least of us who loves as he does.
This is true because we are all only as great as we love.
God is love, he is great!
"Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone."
That verse is from the Christian Bible book of Luke, chapter 18, verse 19.
We could change the word to great as well.
"Why do you call me great?" Jesus would answer too, "No one is great--except God alone."
And yet to be great is also to be loving, and to be humbly strong in that loving, in a way that is unconditionally loving us all also.
God is great in his loving!!

Love cries out all the time from all the pores of our being but then we are led astray by circumstances of our own making.
It is like the all knowing at the workplace. One took it upon himself to make it clear to him that he really sucked with his attitude. He was told no one can stand him any longer - none at all! His reply - "I know that very well"
So time to follow the path prompted from within - the path of love and for that let us eschew ego, pride, greed, selfishness - a tough call but then when done it is heavenly - siva

Yes, it is often a tough call to follow the path of love.
The emptiness we feel is always because we have turned our back on the courage to follow only love.
When we follow love, we are instantly fulfilled and full of this feeling of connection to God, and we feel empty in a whole new way, emptied of our old selves for the new self in God.
