A couple of months ago I bought a small rice cooker. It's not only for cooking rice but it can be used for frying -- rice, banana, etc. However, I also bought a stove to boil water and to fry banana, fish, etc. So my rice cooker is only for rice either plain rice or mixed in coconut milk. Do you boil potatoes in a rice cooker or you use a steamer? I am zero about all these stuffs. Lol.

I tried making steamed cake using my rice cooker once. Other than that, we only use it for rice. We have a separate steamer too.
