Brand New to myLot and confused :/ / myLot

Hi :) I apparently signed up with this site a long time ago, but I have never used it before today. Do people really get paid here for posting on the forum? How often do people post to actually get to the five dollar mark? Does liking add to your total? I am confused as to how this works... and maybe why they do it lol Thanks for any input! Lisa
