How happy I would be if I still had an extended family. I noticed many friends of mine still have their extended families. They got photos of all of them taken at certain celebration days. They looked happy. I expect that I will have an extended family starting from me down to my great grand children.
Do you still have an extended family -- your great grand parents, parents, aunts, etc, etc? When is the best moment you spend together?

Doesn’t extended family mean living together in one house with all family members in different generation?

Not necessarily in the same house based on the definition as far as I know.

@yanzalong here’s the definition and it’s the same definition we were taught when I was an elementary student.

@yanzalong It will never happen at this point in time. Most of them are having a family feud.

Although it’s just my my mother, my husband and I that live in our house we live nextdoor to my gram and my aunts...so I sort of live with my extended family...it’s comforting most of the time but sometimes it gets stifling...every one wanting to know how you’re day went...sigh

Yes. Extended family members should not always live in one roof.

Don't have grandparents anymore. I missed them since they are the ones who always do the planning for our family reunion before.

The same here. I have no more grand parents and parents. So sad when I remember them all.

Yes I'm fortunate that I still do and we're still close to each other. We get to see each other often during family occasions and holidays. That's a beautiful family picture.

Yes. I know no one there. It shows how happy we will be when we still have them all.
