So, Saturday, I went back to the Post Card Show by myself. I went early because I had the wedding shower to go to that afternoon and I hadn’t, at that point, got what I needed for that. I still needed to get the gift box for the shower gift. To make a long story short, I sat for over two hours, looking through box after box of post cards. It was crazy. In the boxes, there were many post cards that had already been written on, or were old and dilapidated, mixed in with post cards that were clean and in good condition. I was able to find many that I wanted and was very pleased that I was able to get them for 25 cents each. I ended up with about 200 post cards from Friday and Saturday combined. Since I have been spending about $14 a month for post cards, I was pleased to be able to get NICE post cards for a much better price. Now, I will have a good supply of post cards to send out to other persons on Postcrossing.com. Since I send out around 10 or 15 per month, I should have enough to last until next year. I was especially pleased to get some post cards with Virginia scenes, because most of the persons request post cards from where I live, so I have a really good supply of those now. I also was able to get some post cards from other places that I have personally visited in other states and countries. So, right now, I’m pleased that I was able to go back on Saturday and finish my shopping for post cards. Something that I won’t have to be concerned about for a long time.
