The Wedding Shower Was Beautiful

The rented facility was decorated beautifully with a Fall theme, by friends of the engaged couple. My daughter was actually in charge of it all and she did a great job with a lot of helpers. She took some photos and I might be able to post a few. Not sure. The shower was given by the congregation that the couple attends, so there was an amazing amount of FOOD for one thing and GIFTS for another thing. Everyone participated in bringing food, drinks and gifts. The couple will have quite a head start on setting up their household. Lots of cooking utensils and decorative items, that they had actually registered for at a couple stores. I always think that is a good idea. But, there were also a LOT of cards that contained money. That’s what I gave. That way they can purchase what they want. I have known the young man since he was about four years old, but his fiancée is from another area. A beautiful girl with a great disposition, it seems to me. I was worn out quickly however and left early, once they started playing some games. I had had a long day, with going to the Post Card Show and then the shower. So, I was glad to get home and rest.
