House sitting again

My parents have gone away to Manchester for the night, so I'm here with Leonard looking after Treacle (the dog) and the chickens.
Being here is like a holiday for me, so obviously I've ordered a takeaway 
The problem is I ordered it online and then it said it's not going to be here til 9.40! I made the order before 7.30 and obviously don't want to wait that long, but I've been ringing and ringing and the phone's engaged so I can't even get through to them to cancel 
Just got to sit here and be hungry til it finally arrives

I like to be really hungry when I get a takeaway because it doesn't happen as often as I'd like

I've wasted away!
It ended up getting here at about quarter to nine so it wasn't too bad

That's frustrating. I remember it once took six hours to get my full order. They brought it to me, had me pay, then discovered they had forgotten a part of my order. They said it would take 30 minutes, but six hours later I finally got it. I called three times during those hours, but they wouldn't answer. I haven't used them since. They didn't even offer a partial refund or coupon.

? Last time I ordered a pizza supposed to be delivered at 9.30, it came at 10.10. I would consider to eat something if I was you.@LilyBeBack (1994)

Hahaha the worst part is it's only a ten minute walk away! I didn’t want to eat anything before it arrived cos I like to be really hungry when I have a takeaway

It got here an hour earlier than they said it would and it was closer to hot than they often are, I won't get anything from them again but I'll call off the hit man for now

It arrived an hour earlier than they said it would, I think they did it on purpose to make it seem like they were quicker
