I think this is the last album by Rod I consider worth buying.
I never did think he was sexy, so I stopped when the next one came out. 
But I have all his solo albums previous to 'Blondes Have More Fun' except for 'Atlantic Crossing' which I am still looking for.
Rod had 'changed direction' musically a few albums previous to this...although a few of the songs have a bit of an 'edge' to them, he had departed from working with the Faces and was becoming more of a 'pop' performer.
Which if that is what you wanna do, fine, but...just not my cup o' coughee.
Gotta say it was good while it lasted...

My mam loves Rod Stewart, he played here a couple of years ago and my mam had tickets but she missed it because Leonard had just been born and he was in NICU so she wanted to be available if anything happened 
I told her she should definitely still go but she said she wouldn't enjoy it cos she'd be too preoccupied. I'm sure it was his last ever tour or something like that

I would like to have seen a show in the mid-70's when he still played with Faces but jails 'n stuff...

Right with you. That was a good album. Didn't he break up with Britt Ekland before this album? It has that "man, am I lonely" feeling to it throughout.

I love some of Rod's music, his voice is raspy and indistinguishable! Maggie May was my favorite song, by him.
