A small omelette and half a pita bread.

I am trying to eat less so that I can lose some pounds. It is not only vanity: my feet would thank me and so would my knees.
Today I passed on the bread filled with nice toppings that my friends eat. I was with them with a glass of water.
Now, later at night, I´ll make an omelette filled with cut up chives and a bit of cheese. I´ll put that into half a pita bread and that will be it.
What sort of diets do you have? Do you diet once in a while?

I heard that breads, pitas and sandwiches makes one to put on weight, so should go for salads and pasta to lose weight, but for me, porridge to lose weight

Pasta and any bread are carbs. And so is porridge. But it depends on the amount.

@marlina Yes, I went through this, also. Health issues made me lose quite a bit of weight.

I'm not on any special diet but I do try to eat as "healthy"'as I can. Still need to work on that though.

Good luck with your plan to lose weight.
I'm on an intermittent diet meaning I only eat within an eight-hour window. I also stay away from rice. I limit my sugar and sweets but it is harder than I imagined.

@marguicha I've limited my bread intake although, I only eat wheat bread. As for pasta, that is still carbs so I have limited that as well.

Me also.
I am just careful about what I eat and if I overdo it a little bit that is okay as its only once in a while.

I have eaten a little less for some days, specially in bread, and I have 200 gr. less. Maybe I´ll reach my desired weight during my life

I eat whatever I can get. You'll hate me for this but most people in my family can eat pretty much whatever they feel like and not put on a lot of extra pounds.
A side note: I have a friend who lost fifty pounds and it made a huge difference in her knee pain.

I used to be like that. But since my chemo, I lost a great part of my energy. And that made me put on weight. I did not eat more; I lead a completely sedentary life.

@marguicha I know a couple of women who were very active all their lives and then suffered a knee injury. Both of them put on a lot of weight after that.

@marguicha Yes, plus any eggs, fish or meats, vegetables, dairy foods, fruits are all just fine. I only have to eliminate wheat, rye, and barley products.
