Favorite "Sister" Songs #5 - "Sister of Mercy"

So far, so good. We are at #5 in my Favorite "Sister" Songs, series, which basically is songs with "sister" in the title. The fifth spot belongs to "Sister of Mercy" by the Thompson Twins. From their 1984 album (platinum or multi-platinum in three countries,) Into the Gap, "Sister of Mercy" was the fourth (out of five) single released from that record. The song did chart highly in the UK (#11,) but did not chart in any other countries. (Fun Fact: The Thompson Twins, albeit without Joe Leeway, moved on to an electronic chill out sound, and have renamed the band Babble.)
