Why did you decide to have a pet?

Pets are good company. They don't ask to much of you and are always happy to see you. And they can be entertaining too.

When I was a child my family had pet cats which I adored. I have such happy memories of them. I dreamed of getting a dog and when I was 32 years old I saved up to get a pet dog. I wished to get a miniature poodle and looked in a newspaper/magazine called The Loot. I lived in Kent at that time and I found an advert that I liked. I rang the dog breeder and I got talking about a little puppy called Secret Party Circle. I went up to the location near Manchester. I came home with my darling little puppy in 2004. I still have him now that it is 2018.

My ex when he worked as a mailman when we were married someone on his route asked if he wanted a puppy from the litter and he asked me and I said yes. That was my first real pet and my first responsibility as a pet owner and then the cat came along. I loved them so much that when they both were gone I felt I still had more love inside of so Sophie came along.

We've just always had them growing up. I've had all kinds of pets and I love them all. Dogs are what we mainly have had all my life but we have also had birds, fish, bunnies, chickens, horses, and even a pig. The pig was one of my favorites and I still miss him.

Ever since when I was little, I loved cats, so since I like them a lot my mom let me have one. So that's just it, I love cats that's way I have them as pets.

I like having animals around but they are rather restrictive if you want to travel, for example. So at the moment we only have small ones that are easy for other people to look after - a dwarf hamster and 4 chickens.
