She is crying right now saying that nobody wanted her ever since she was a kid. That she is useless or something. My dad is comforting her right now. i don't really know what to say. I just said that we want her... We were just talking about the dinner we just had in our grandma's house and then she just started feeling so down. I hope she is better tomorrow.

Well I know one that truly does want her and that is Jesus. I will pray for her to be comforted.

How often does she feel this way? Is she tired or sleepy most of the time? Has she lost interest in things that she likes doing?

it happens every few months I think.. mostly she is okay, chatty with the neighbors, busy with gardening or just hanging out with us

@lady1993 I would st up an appointment with a psychiatrist because she may need meds to balance the chemicals in the brain. Sometimes it's an imbalance of those chemicals that make a person feel that way.

That is terrible. Does she have trouble with depression? You guys obviously love her. Hopefully, enough love and reassurance will be enough.

When one age, she becomes emotional. A story can trigger sad memories of her childhood. So, let her feel all your love to assure her that she is loved by each of you.

That was in the past, it's not good idea to reminiscing about the horrible things.

I'm sorry your mother is feeling that way. I've felt like that many times. It's hard to live with rejection and it's hard to accept that someone actually does want you when you've lived with it for so long. Just be there for your mom.

@lady1993 having low-esteem is tantamount to going into depression.
