Nowadays, it has become popular to order a taxi or a taxi-bike through mobile phone applications. Besides it's easier, it's also cheaper. From the application you decide where to go; then you'll be quickly notified of the cost. The driver or rider will arrive to pick you up less than 10 minutes. I've used the service several times and I feel satisfied at the service. What about you?

I use grabcar and not grab taxi. It's easier but it's not cheaper.

@yanzalong A big difference. A grab car is a private car who enrolled in grab and they own their own car and there's no taxi written on it. Can be a sedan or a very expensive car or an suv. But grab a taxi is a taxi operator who registered in grab. That's why if you noticed in the picture you posted which was actually from the Grab company you can see they posted Grabcar and grab taxi differently.

nothing could feel safer than hailing a taxi who has the drivers profile info of it. Yes i have tried it and i usually use it because it is safer and much comfortable. :)

Most people say so. We are safer as we have the data of the driver.

Uber is more friendly to the pocket than the actual taxis here.

That sounds a great idea. Taxis in our capital city are not very reliable.

This is a lot safer as we know drivers data.

Very interesting. I have never heard of a taxi bike before. What is the difference between taxi and taxi bike?

Taxi bike is a motorcycle used to carry a passenger. This is common in Indonesia.
