@gibocam I don't dance. And there really is no difference, both tell a story. The story always ends the same.

@JolietJake Some people watch them over and over because they love it. Some people are addicted to it. Some people love to watch their favorite stars. For me it is different. My reason is that to pick up some lines I misssed and that I may learn something watching it again.
I'm a dancer so I can tell the difference. If I listen to a song over and over, it does not mean I want to learn something that I missed like movies. There are similarities but I believe there are reasons why sense of smell is different from sense of touch. You can't tell actions by ears.

A stress free time for anyone who loves watching their favorite movie(s).

I agree with other's takes on this. I watch movies over and over because maybe I'll catch something I missed before. If I get to the point that I could talk along with the dialogue, it actually makes me love the movie even more.

That's an interesting point, I've never watched a movie that often before but I have watched the same movie more than twice at different times in my life.

I rewatch movies because the one I like is funny or it really grabs my attention

i don´t watch movies over and over to get benefits. I watch them to have fun. Sometimes, reading a book twice or watching a movie twice (or more) lets you see other things you hadn´t the first time.

I seldom re-watch movies, twice is max no matter how much I like it. It gets boring for me since I know now how the story ended.

I watched all the episodes of Harry Potter but I just noticed on my 6th time that there's a cameraman caught between the duel of Malfoy and Harry in the Chamber of Secrets episode.
Same with Pirates of Carribean. I watched it 5 times and found out Jack Sparrow has this mother. I discover hints there. Also one of the production crew was caught on camera in the 2nd episode when I watched it in 4th.
Sometimes movies are more than stories. There might be hidden messages.
