Ghosts?

I just had a weird thing happen. I am in the bathroom upstairs with the door open. Both daughter and grandson just went downstairs with the two cats following them. I glance out into the hall just in time to see a shadow move slowly across the patch of sunlight there. What in the world was it? No birds can land on that side of the house. No one else was upstairs. Clouds wouldn't have made that type of shadow. My tree is on the other side of house from where the shadow was. Hmm.

There are some television shows where they report that the ghost of a deceased person show up from time to time.
