The Sandwich Shop Around The Corner

Happy Thanksgiving Eve to all of you. I was just thinking about a time back in the late 70's and early 80's when I worked at the telephone company downtown. I brought my lunch most of the time but on this particular day I decided to eat at the sandwich shop just around the corner. I ordered their turkey sandwich. Not your usual fare by any means. It was chunky, delicious white turkey meat, with lovely green lettuce. But, it had a small amount of cream cheese spread on one side and a healthy amount of cranberry sauce on top of that. It was delicious! Just the right amount of each ingredient made it so very good.

It is great if you have shops just around the corner. Some people have to travel by bus or train to the nearest shop.
