A homeless man named Johnny helped Kate McClure out of a tough spot recently when Kate's auto ran out of gasoline on Interstate 95 outside of the Philadelphia Pennsylvania city limits.
Johnny told Kate when her auto was parked on the shoulder of the Interstate that where she is located and alone was dangerous.
Johnny went to a gasoline station nearby with the last $20 dollars he had in his possession and used a small gas tank he carried with him to buy gasoline for Kate so she could go on her route to visit a relative.
Kate repaid Johnny by having money donated to her GoFundMe website which raised around $250,000 to help Johnny have a place to stay and get some clothing for himself.
Johnny was a former U S Marines who worked as a firefighter and paramedic before he wound up homeless.
Johnny hopes to land a job at Amazon warehouse in Robbinsville New Jersey. A great Thanksgiving story for today.
