I jkniw tis sounds dum bu t I have relished dioing 'my own showers.So to have someone helpo me does boter me,I ave some scratches on my back' I made mysef because y back itches in warm times and I 'scratch ilt,. Sop now they are making a federal' case out of those scratches and IL guess they do not realize ist embarrassing the hell out of m e.'I m a priovate persoI donot l ike this they' may be well meaning but at y age a lot of well meajing' turns outto be nemarrassilg to m e. I can understand how it feels. After my surgery, I woke up to a couple of nurses giving me a sponge bath. I was still pretty much out of it, but I remembered later and felt so embarrassed.

I don't shower anymore. Not since 2011 I think. I take sponge baths.

I totally understand how you feel about having someone to help you in the shower. When I had my Open Heart surgery, I had to have someone to help me with my shower and they sent a male, I was not a happy camper.
