The halo braid is a very sophisticated hairstyle that you can wear for any type of occasion. It will make you look like a princess or even a fairy. This is the best hairstyle you can have especially when attending a wedding. It is also good if you will be wearing a night gown.
There are several halo braid variations you can try for medium to long hair. The classic halo braid is the one that goes around your head. It looks like a crown and it will definitely make you feel as if you are a royalty from the medieval era.
If you want to add more appeal into your halo braid, the best thing to do is put some flowers on it. It can be tucked or pinned into place. It will be nice as well to have a shiny clip. But it will still look perfect as it is.

Maybe you can just use hair extension to make it look thicker.

You can try the tutorials on Youtube. They have tutorials on halo braids for short hair.

I had very long hair as a child and my mom always braided it for me in different way including the halo braid. One way I really liked it was the braids on either side pinned up like pony tails. Sort of like this.

@cherriefic I just posted that photo as an example. My mom made me braids like that when I was little. Now I have shoulder length hair.
