Trump Fatigue Syndrome

Like information fatigue that sets in due to information "overload", have we reach the point where our brains can no longer process the daily antics of the US president? Hosts of late night shows use to say that Trump was the best thing to happen for comedy. But the nightly supply of repetitious presidential buffoonery is wearing thin among audiences. Whereas before I eagerly anticipated shows of Stephen Colbert, Noah Trevors and Bill Maher, now not so much since I know the main topic of their shows would be about Trump. Enough already. People have to get on with their lives. There are more important things to do than Trump-watching. Except for diplomatic protocol, many countries and global organizations are now ignoring Trump after he manage to single-handedly downgrade the office of the US president. Real leaders have more serious world problems to deal with. Can you imagine a worst fate for a narcissist than to be ignored? Let us not feed his ego any further. Hopefully he will fade away quietly to Mar-lago where he can practice his golf swing, free at last from the heavy burden of responsibilities of the US presidency. Photo Image: Pixabay But you could also take a non prescription drug "Muellerol" for your Trump fatigue syndrome.

Well said, as Oscar Wild said "it does not matter if you talk good or bad, the important is you talk". This is the case of this narcissist President. The best is to ignore him.

Trump is the "elephant in the room" everyone would like to ignore but he refuses to go away. Unless impeach, we will have to endure three more years of his idiocy.

@josie_ You are so right, impossible to ignore him, I wonder how he is still there. There must be a reason we do not know.

@LadyDuck _While the public is focus on the antics of this man-child, the elites who actually are the real power behind the scene are trying to pass laws and regulations that benefit them and their businesses.

Because he's rich people say he is eccentric or unconventional. But if he wasn't wealthy his "strangeness" would have landed him in the psychiatric ward for the mentally incompetent.

Completely agree with this. I wish we could just move on and get through the next three years without having to constantly hear about that orange buffoon.

@josie_ I wish someone would take away his phone, or ban him from Twitter.

@Srbageldog _That would throw him into a fit worse than what this man-child's tantrums already are.

Maybe we should encourage him to spend more time in Mar-lago. That will hopefully keep him out of mischief while others actually run the government.

@josie_ i read a news feed on Fb that his daughter Ivana did not know the meaning of one English word, and she had the wrong definition of the word Complicit. the word was defined, and she misused the word in a positive manner.

@ridingbet _I wasn't aware of this news item. Ivanka will defend her father's complicity in any illegal dealings because her husband is also involved.

@misunderstood_zombie _If he could just synchronize his thinking process with his speaking then he won't find himself "putting his foot in his mouth" as often as he does now.

@josie_ He's not my favorite president, but I don't dislike him as much as some people do. I just wish he would think before he speaks or tweets.

He is not only downgrading his office, he is also downgrading USA by deregulating everything. As I am not American, I do not care anymore about what this big mouth with the brain of a tench is doing. Nobody in the world would follow him today anyways. Time to look for another good reality show.

Let's hope Mueller's investigation will produce proof of Trump-Putin collusion and the US congress can start impeachment. Hopefully the Trump reality show will be taken off the air.

Well said. But an ignored narcissist might have a tantrum and declare war on N. Korea or Canada or something.

Obama had his faults but he had empathy for the less fortunate. Trump's actions on so many occasions has shown his total lack of sympathy for others. He couldn't even bring himself to acknowledge his mistake and apologize to a war widow.

What do you expect from a person who only uses half a brain? Even that is doubtful.
