A rather unknown 1971 movie with James Stewart, Ann Baxter, George Kennedy, Kurt Russell and several other character actors. I had never seen it before. This is a great movie. Ann Baxter may have had her best roll in this one. I didn't even realize the character was her for several minutes. Then I recognized her voice. I mean she was that good. It's about three ex cons who just got out of prison back in the 30's. Very good. I'm I watched this one. I always enjoy Stewart movies but this one was special. Great storyline, Kurt Russell was very young, great acting, etc.
