Have you ever watched a SAD movie or TV show or read a SAD novel?
Or maybe you have just had a SAD memory pop up for some reason and it brought tears to your eyes.
Well, I read this word today and definitely had to look it up in the dictionary.
The word is: LACHRYMOSE
What does it mean?
It means tearful, or causing tears.
The sentence I read said. “Moviegoers reached for tissues during the film’s lachrymose and tragic ending.”
Did you know that one? I didn’t.

Yes, just one of the MANY words in the English language that isn't used a lot.. So, I've added it to my vocabulary and they say if you share it with your friends, you will always remember it.
By the way, what time and date is it in Indonesia right now. It's just after midnight here, in Virginia, USA.

I'm glad you enjoy my vocabulary words. I love learning new words. I ran some errands today and got behind on my posting, but I will catch up tomorrow. It was such a nice day, I wanted to take advantage of the warmer weather while it lasts. By Thursday, it's going to be much colder, so I will be staying indoors.
This winter, I will have lots of time to write and post on mylot, because I sort of hibernate in the winter.

Add it to your vocabulary and dazzle your friends. They say if you use a word three times, you will remember it.

Good for you! If you read a lot like I do, you will find lots of new words. So, I decided to make a Daily Post based on something I read that day. I ran errands today, because it was warm so I didn't get to read much. I will catch up tomorrow.

Yep! It's English all right! But, it's certainly not a word you will hear every day.
