Will this clue reveal the answer to what is being made?

So far the clues are: ~100 crochet christmas stockings ~ 3 painted wooden boards (one for each child) Now... my girls keep asking to use the new kid size hammer to work on the next step of our project. The paint is still drying in places and my baby is currently sleeping. so soon as she wakes up we can use those items in the box to make.............??? Can you figure it out yet? Are you good with a hammer? I hope the kid size one will make it easier for my kids to not hammer their fingers...
