I caught a sight of new cat family in my garden

I don't visit my garden regularly or every day, so I think there are many things have happened there while I was not there. One of them is that there's a new family of cat settling there. Today as I visit my garden, I caught a sight of a mom cat resting behind the banana trees among the bushes. She was still breast feeding two of her kittens. The cats were not tame therefore the mom cat gave me a stern look and seemed so furious, meanwhile the kittens ran and hid somewhere in the bushes when I tried to capture them with my mobile camera. I got one of their picture before all of them ran away from me. Well, unlike one of my neighbor who never lets any animals stay in his garden, I won't disturb this cat family. Will let them stay there. What do you say?

Cat and dog seem to be enemies forever.

You are kind, I'm glad the momma has a place to raise her kittens but hopefully you can eventually capture her and have her spayed so you will not have too many cats around.

I will surely think about that. I already have 5 cats at home with me, and I think it's enough.

Those in your home are probably not as wild as this momma is @A_loves_B she'll just have litter after litter if she's not caught and spayed, she might already be pregnant again. In some areas where I live they capture the feral cats so they can get spayed or neutered and their shots then they are released back into their territories. It's been working quite well in reducing the number of feral cats.

@rebelann Well, here no one seems to care with wild cats. Even the government seems to ignore their existance. Wild cats should get spayed to control their population. I hope I can capture the mom cat and then have her spayed.

Let them stay and feed them to. They might be hungry.

Yes, they were. I left some cat food near the spot where I first found them.

Yes they are. I'm sure the mom cat will look more beautiful if she doesn't show an angry look.

If the cats are willing to stay there; you should let them stay.

Glad you let them stay in your garden than shoo them away. Sad these kitties are homeless.

Giving them shelter is the only thing I can do to help them.

You could let them stay, if otherwise they are not going to enter your home and disturb you in any manner.

@A_loves_B First of all I do not have a garden like you have. If I were you and if I had a garden, I would allow cat(s) to grow up there, provided they do not venture into our house for milk etc.

Yes, that's the only idea I have in my head now. I will let the mom cat raise her kittens until they become strong enough to survive. If you were me, what would you do?

@dpk262006 y Nice answer. I won't allow them entering my house or kitchen for milk as well. They should be satisfied for being allowed to grow up in my garden. Anyway, my garden is not like what you might assume. It's small but relaxing.

I hope that the cats would learn to accept and learn to play with you.

Ha ha. I hope so. But I think they are so wild. It will be hard to make them accept me, or even play with me.

I like cats. It is better not to disturb them or harm them, let her stay there with her kitten. She has found a safe place for her and her kids. If you disturb her it would be cruelty. If the kittens are caught by the dogs on the street, the dog won't spare them and kill the kittens.

You got the points. I don't want anything bad to happen to the kittens. They will safe in my garden.
