I'm not sure where these guys are from, maybe Boston.
I don't normally do this, but I am copying a paragraph from Wiki here:
"To date, (they have) sold over 40 million units in the U.S., with 23 gold albums,(with) 18 (going) platinum, and 8 (going) multi-platinum. They have had five consecutive number-one albums on the Billboard 200 and 20 top-ten singles on the Billboard Hot 100. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016. In 2017, original band members Peter Cetera, Robert Lamm, and James Pankow were elected to the Songwriters Hall of Fame for their songwriting efforts as members of the music group."
The 'official' catalog of their work lists 36 albums, of which 24 are studio albums and the other 12 'greatest hits' or 'live' collections of work.
Close to 50 years now, with their first release on 1969 and their latest (live) in 2015.
And there have been a few changes in personnel, but of the original 7 members, 4 of them are on every release. (Guitarist Terry Kath died in 1978 of an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound...whether he could have been the fifth to appear on all albums, we'll never know).

I think the actual title is "The Day Between Friday and Sunday in a Public Recreational Area"

The big 'hit' from it was "Feeling Stronger Every Day"

I feel the exact way about Chicago that I do about Heart. Fantastic band in the 70's, but then the 80's showed up.
