Do you always finish your plate?

i know some people are brought up to finish their plate, but I'm not. I never finish my plate.
There are some reasons why I don't finish my plate: I'm full, I don't like the food, and I know the food doesn't do my body good.
Well, in some restaurant, finishing our plate or leaving behind an empty plate means that we are still hungry and we want to eat more food.

@A_loves_B to leave food is seen as bad thing. There are several people in our country who can't get food then don t you think it's wise to leave food in.plate.

@sjvg1976 Yes, you're right. I realize there are many people out there who are unable to get food everyday. I leave a little food in my plate, but never throw it to the trash bin. I give it to the stray dogs or other animals, as in my place they seem to be ignored.

@A_loves_B If I am not being offered the food of my choice, I will not allow it to keep it on my plate. I would return it uneaten so that someone else could consume it.

Well, that's good to try finishing your plate as it means you appreacite the food offered to you. How about if you don't like the food? Will you keep on trying to finish it?

@A_loves_B I do the same thing. Here in my country, be it at home or at restaurants, we have to finish our food.

Yes, I always finish the food on my plate. I only take what I need. I don't take a huge quantity. We should never waste food. There are many people who don't get food and starve themselves.
