The peppermint tea..today really made me dumb. I noticed the Green Tea has reached to the bottom. I need it for the evening. If I have it now, again I may have to go to market riding the bike for 2 k.ms. I walked out to have it outside. When I asked for the Green Tea which will generally be there, the boy made it into a peppermint Tea. He was thinking somewhere and made it and kept a sorry face as if I had to take it compulsorily to avoid a loss to him. I got angry but controlled it. Unpleasantly, I tased it. Really a horrible flavor. There is no flavor at all. What he made out of peppermint leaves is only a hot sugar water with some light brown color. If this is the taste of Peppermint tea....No..I will never have it at any time...though there are some who prefer it for a Sinus problem, Headache, as a remedy for cold, for stomach upsets, good for the brain I already have enough brain and I need not prefer it to improve its functioning and cause inconvenience to others.I do not have any sinus problem or cold. Why should I go for it. I just returned the tea and came out. Many are coming out with different kinds of Teas using varieties of products. Tomorrow somebody may come out with Coriander Tea, Jaggery Tea, Black Pepper Tea etc., Yes..there is no wonder in it.

Yes. The whole internet is occupied with these techniques. Of course, these are homemade tips..we can think like that. They will be found useful sometimes to somebody. But, not universally. We can not ignore them totally. For example, the Aloe Vera is found to be very useful and it offers good protection from a various health problem., Though our elders in villages were using this, we never had the opportunity to use them. The science has come up explaining the various benefits of using it. Now we all are after this herb. But, this has to be taken in required doses only with some compositions which we do not know. An overdose of it may cause rashes on the skin. Similarly, imperfect and improper combinations will not give any result.

@Shiva49 you are right. When you said that each body reacts differently, we should accept that every patient can analyze the things, the effect they have on his body and the response of his body to the various treatment. But, everybody is not perfect in observing it. So a specialist ie., a Doctor is always needed to study our body's response to various medicines and to suggest a good treatment and medicine.

I don't think I've tried peppermint tea. I do like spearmint tea though, I don't know if they both taste different.

@shivamani10 I don't drink tea much, and usually don't like flavored ones. But I find spearmint tea to be quite nice.

Peppermint flavour is not good, according to my opinion. I can't tolerate the smell if some one prepare any dish adding the particular leaves. But the chutney that is also adding few leaves along with coriander leaf may be tolerable. Tea, definitely will be horrible.

I haven't tried peppermint tea so can't tell about it. I like green tea (tulsi) and ginger tea.
