after adopting my 17th cat this summer (not all at once-this is the total of how many i've had),manny,my newest rescue (dumped by former neighbor) has come up with a new quirk i hadn't seen before. it's not often one surprises me anymore. but she is still in her safe room,she's not comfortable being out full time with the other 2 yet.. when she wants to roam the house,she'll meow at my bedroom door. often LOUDLY. we'll tell her to be quiet,because she often decides 4 am is running time. she has started now doing a lower meow when hushed..like she's whispering. it's the funniest damn thing i've ever seen. kitty sarcasm. i need to try to record this one of these days. but in true cat fashion,i'm sure she won't do it if the camera's out.
