Merry Christmas everyone. I hope everyone had a wonderful day. We start off Christmas with breakfast. My dad always makes a high feast for Christmas breakfast for my siblings and I and some friends we invite over. There were 11 of us this year. My dad made us sausage & gravy biscuits, eggs, bacon, scrapple, sausage, red hots, grits, and potatoes. After breakfast, we all gather in the living room and opening presents. This year was a good year for gifts for all of us. My dad got this big skillet that he wanted for when they go camping, my mom got a mobile printer, I gave my parents a customized sign for their camper. Gave my sister an electric wine opener, and a marble mug. and a bottle of wine. From my parents, I got an oil diffuser, oils, a case for the oils, an electric tea kettle, blue tooth shower speaker, and my dad bought me one of every Christmas ornament that my college offered this year. There were 7 of them total. My sister got me a purse that has my initials on it and a bracelet that says "Always my sister Forever my friend". I got a new camera lens from my boyfriend. From his family, I received money, a pj set, a simply southern shirt, another wax warmer, a mug and hot chocolate set. One of my favorite gifts was from his mother. She gave me a navy & red flannel vest from a locally own boutique here called The Blonde Buttercup. She also got me matching navy leggings and leg warmers from there. I also received money from her. We still have Christmas to open up with his mom's best friend and then I head back to college for my last semester of undergrad. When I get back to school I will open presents with my friend Morgan and with my friend Serg. Overall it was a great Christmas. How was everyone else's Christmas?

Thank you. Lenses do cost a lot. I have been lucky this month though and done several photo shoots for people while home. It is a great little side job to have. My last year is already flying by and I'm not really ready for it to end. It is going to be weird to not be back in the mountains come next August. The place has become a real home for me in these last four years. I am considering living there after I graduate if things go as plan closer to that time.

@CaseyRoss9966 That's awesome! I remember you told me about your photography once. Best of luck to you in the future. I wound up getting a job after college near my university and never went back home to live, except just before my wedding. lol

@DianneN That would be my plan but to never come back except to visit for holidays and random visits. There isn't really anything for me here especially job wise.

I enjoyed Christmas with my family and also now have an electric kettle. I'm sure it will be used a lot in my home. Have a great day and college will be over soon.

Lots of food preparation. Washed a number of dishes and even worked for some clients.
