I had always loved reading books since my childhood. Till recently I found time to go to library or bought books to read. But during the last two years,I find that I have not been doing much reading. While I came across the reading list of some members here, I became aware of how much I was missing. So now I have made up my mind to start reading more from today. Also,I have decided to read library books, audio books and E-books because sometimes I avoid audio books and E-books. So,wish me luck.

I do not like audio books, I need to read myself to imagine the scenario and to figure in my mind the characters and the situation.

That is true. That is why I liked reading and hearing stories when we were kids.We could imagine the characters in our own way.No Disney movies to spoil our imagination.

@silvermist Even when there is a movie from a book, I always want to read the book first.

I don't think you'll need any luck. Books are addictive and so enjoyable. I prefer paper books, but read e-books, too. I don't care for audio books at all.

I have a great library close to home. I visit often but when I borrow books I return some without reading due to other preoccupations. I am sure you are better organized - siva

Good for you. I have a friend that brings me books for free and when I finish I return to her. If I want more I go to the used bookstore in town and get some too. I love to read.

I actually feel the same. I'm a book worm myself, but lately I haven't read any books that are my interests and it makes me feel gloomy and all... having a busy schedule really sucks! If only I had a lot of spare time, I would definitely spend it only for reading books. It is as if half of my life was taken away from me. I miss going out on a cafe all by myself during rainy days while reading my favorite book.
