I've mentioned that small dogs can be more aggressive than large dogs but Paco the Chihuahua takes the cake; in a good way. Apparently a coyote thought he would come into this guys back yard possibly looking for food. When he saw Paco, I'm sure his thoughts were, "Well, this is gonna be an easy lunch." Well, no. Paco, an 18-year-old, toothless dog gave the coyote the surprise of his life. Paco chased the coyote all over the back yard making it clear he had to leave. It was all caught on a security camera. Who says an old dog can't learn new tricks.
A toothless Chihuahua named Paco took on a potentially deadly carnivore Thursday, after a coyote wandered into the backyard of his Florida home.

@nanette64 I know, they are so small that they are scared all the time and they bite because they want people pay attention not to crush them.

They can be mean that's for sure @LadyDuck . Most bites in the US are from dogs like them.

Who would have thought a small dog like that would even 'try' going against a coyote @YrNemo .

@nanette64 A tiny dog like that used to chase after me to nip at my ankles (my uncle's dog!). I swear I did nothing to it, I was there visiting my aunt. Guess it nip everyone's ankles since my uncle decided to give it away to someone else in the end. (Perhaps Paco did the same to the coyote .)

Such old small dog can do that too; I used to have a doberman, but he never attacked small dogs.

@nanette64 It is Absolute Law for the dogs - never harm old, week and impaired dog. Dogs are better than human.

I don't think that the old dog learnt new tricks. It used the old tricks it had learnt in his youth.

My daughter has a chiweenie, and he thinks he's a doberman and not a little pipsqueak, so I can understand the dog acting this way in the video.
