Eve of New Years Eve Party

We have some charming friends, two men who used to work with our daughter in Dallas and now live near us in California, who decided to throw an Eve of New Year's Eve party.
It was perfect!
The men both have incredible taste and have decorated their condo gorgeously. In addition to their normal home decor, they added stunning Hanukah decorations. The blue and silver menorahs, lights, and floral arrangements were gorgeous.
Throwing a party tonight rather than on New Year's Eve was a wonderful idea. We were able to get together with a number of friends in our community, and everyone will be free to attend other events for New Year's Eve.
As for me and my husband, we will be curled up in front of the TV set on the big night, watching the ball drop in Times Square.
Do any of you have big plans for New Year's Eve?

I will be spending New Years Eve with my family in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. It's a tradition we have been doing for the past 18 years, ever since my daughter was born!
Happy New Year!

@DeborahDiane I wonder if the crowds at Disneyland are as bad as the crowds at Disney World on New Years? If so, I just want to warn you in advance that Disney is not quite as magical when you are packed into the theme park like a can of sardines!

@moffittjc - I'm sure Disneyland is just as crowded. Think we will stay away. We don't go very often anymore but, when we do, I prefer drizzly days in the off-season. Its not quite as bad then.

@moffittjc - that is wonderful. I think New Years at Disneyland would be fun to do one year.

We usually spend it with friends but my friend is sick and I am not sure she is going to feel up to doing New Year's Eve, we will have to see. It sounds like you had a nice party to attend, I was at a baby shower today which was fun.

New Year's eve will always be spent at my aunt's house. We watch fireworks display then have a special midnight dinner. That sounds a great party

We went out to dinner on the eve of the eve, then stayed home New Year's Eve, other than our very chilly walk around the ponds in the early afternoon.

I think that was a wise decision. New Year's Eve can be a dangerous time to be out on the road.

We won't be going to a new year's eve party but we plan to go to the temple and pray for God to bless us for the new year.
