Did you buy anything at after Christmas sales?

I did do a bit of shopping after Christmas. I bought a pair of slippers that actually resemble boots and have worn them outside..yes, they are soft soled but durable, and look like boots. So, what the heck? I also bought some German cookie crackers that are interesting and good. I also bought a string of Christmas lights as I seem to be having a light shortage. That might be it, unless things get marked down to 75 percent off..then I might be tempted. What about you? Any after Christmas shopping? Oh yeah, I bought my cat the toy from 5 Below that Lori A Moore posted she had purchased for hers. I forgot I bought a rug as well, but it was not on sale.

Oh yes! We always buy new cards, tags and wrapping paper the few days after christmas and we did again this year and at kmart, so 50% off everything but we only spent maybe $1 out of pocket. Also got my neighbor kathy a charlie brown tree for next year because she has been wanting one, and didnt even have a tree this year.

I thought about buying an after market tree..but I am really, really hoping to sell and move, and I don't want to have to drag yet another thing with me. When I moved here I left a nice tree at my other place in the attic. I didn't remember it until after I was gone.

The stores weren't crowded. This was a few days after Christmas.

I haven't even been able to hit the after Christmas sales . . . we were all shopped out on the week of Christmas 
. However we did make it the 99Cent Store . . . they had Christmas stuff for 25 cents. I got a bunch of cute Christmas tins for next year's food gifts (which means I better make food gifts 
).

I didn't go to Dollar Tree but I thought about it. I usually buy wrapping paper after the holidays there..but I will use what I have.

Yes, I would say I needed these things..well maybe not the cat thing, that wasn't on sale anyway or the chocolate cookies, but the other things yeah I would say I needed them.

I could have bought shoes at payless because I had a gift card but all of my slippers have problems so why not buy some new ones? They were all marked down.

I haven't gone shopping yet since Christmas and likely won't be going out until this upcoming weekend. We are getting low here on the things we eat regularly. I hope when I go out I can find a string of lights on clearance to make a craft with.
