so we shut down for the season today..so i got about a month off.. but we had a bunch of unused food in the freezers. they don't want it there going rotten,so they let us pick what we wanted to bring home. i got milk, orange juice, bread and a whole carton of eggs. the eggs definetly came in handy.i decided to make a huge thing of potato salad when i got home.sad thing is,even tho it's a couple of pounds worth,it'll probably be gone by tomorrow..or mostly.we got some big eaters here. i suppose i should be happy they like it tho..

Look at that, you saved money and made something that your whole family got to enjoy.

Wow, a whole month off, boy do I know a lotta people who'd love to get a month off. I have 12 months off so I'm not complainin I wish I'd had a boss who'd give me food to take home, food is always welcome.

I think that's the practical things we can do.

Your family is like mine, they can wipe out a huge bowl of potato salad in one sitting. Leftovers never last very long.
