Danger of a landslide at Rattlesnake Ridge

Rattlesnake Ridge Landslide
Enumclaw, Washington
January 4, 2018 11:38pm CST
When will this mountain come down? Most predictions say before the end of this month. I feel bad for the people that are to be evacuated, some are too poor and nowhere to move to and have not left yet. If it really goes down, evacuation is really important.

People will need to leave if the mountain is going to come down on them.

Some of them have left, others are just too poor to go anywhere, and will have to leave at the last minute, if they have the chance.

It looks dangerous to stay in this place. I hope that people are in a safe place now.

I'm kind of late on this. Has it happened yet?

It hasn't come down yet. It is moving about 1.6 feet per week. I found a page with the latest news, and a daytime webcam of the slide area. -

@teamfreak16 Yeah, for some reason the link doesn't work for me either, unless I type it in. I'll be keeping my eye on that slide though.

@slothgurl - My phone won't open the link for some reason. That seems like a lot of movement.
