Don't Harass the Cows!

A bill was just introduced into the state legislature in my state that would make it illegal to harass cows with flying drones. Seriously? I had no idea this was even a problem. But then again I live in town, not out in the country where all the cows live. I had read recently that local ranchers were starting to use drones to keep track of their herds and local farmers were using drones to check on their crops. But I had no idea that trouble-makers were out there harassing cows. For crying out loud, leave the cows alone! This only makes sense. Do we really need a law for this? I wonder what other drone laws are coming. What kind of drone problems is your neck of the woods experiencing?

This is the beginning of drone issues. Hovering drones with a camera peeking in windows for starters.

@JohnRoberts I agree. There are a lot more drone issues that pose major problems that are much more serious than cow harassment. Drones with cameras peeking in windows or stalking people is the first thing that comes to mind but all sorts of havoc can be created with drones. They can also be used for terrorist activities and mass killings or to disrupt air travel. I'm sure there are people out there thinking up all kinds of ways drones can be used for malevolent purposes. We can keep passing new laws but that will not prevent things from happening. It's a whole new world.

Wow, really? A law has to be made for that? So far we don't have any trouble with drones here. People use it here more for recreational purposes and none has ever thought of harassing cows yet.

Interesting. Didn't know legislators in your state will be passing drone law to protect cows.

No drone problems to report on. But now that you've mentioned it, I'll be on the look out.

In the Dallas area people were sending drones where the main airport was at and there were some close calls with the airplanes being hit by them @MKAlubs .
