Glue trap not working...

This dang rat is pretty smart. It actually pushed the glue trap underneath the side table, so it can walk around it. I'm terrified of going to sleep at night. I am up all night until day light, and if I do fall asleep, I do it with the lights on. Are there pesticide bombs that can be set off in rooms, that can kill rats?

That's a sensible rat, perhaps you should get a cat.

I know I used a bait box to kill a mouse and it worked.

Is it a rat or is it a mouse? We had one rat in our house last year and despite all the clever traps we bpught what ended up working is catching it in a tupperware while it was scurrying across the floor. If you dont have pets maybe a DECON rat poison would work

Yes I think rats are smarter these days.I have used a glue trap too but it doesn't caught anything except poor lizards.Maybe it's the the type of glue trap because I have seen of glue traps that works before when I was still boarding.

Try fix somehow that glue trap so rat can't move it. And put several traps in room. You can find some pesticides but mostly for bugs, not rats.
