Going to see Frozen on Broadway this April

I just got tickets to Frozen on Broadway in April. When I looked for tickets to this musical (and I checked about three months worth of dates, which was annoying) either what was available was only resale tickets, way over priced tickets (they call premium), or tickets that were more than I wanted to spend, especially when fees are added.
So, I got the cheapest seats I could get that seem to still be good seats (fourth row from the back of the balcony section). It cost me $119 plus fees. And on top of that I had to pay $4.50 to have the tickets mailed to me as no will-call option was available. The final total was around $270. It's more than I wanted to spend. Should have gone to the theater yesterday to try and get tickets as I was near it. Oh well.
I am taking my mom to see it with me as she loved the animated movie. Super excited!

I can't wait! The show better be spectacular for that price, even though prices are not totally through the roof.

You can get discount tickets, but sometimes even at a discount it's not that cheap, especially if you add on the fees for getting tickets online.

So far, I've enjoyed every show I've seen. And I've seen many.

That is very pricey! But I'm glad you got tickets for you and your mom to go and I'm sure you will have a good time!
Ps: i do hate that about buying tickets. The price themselves is usually fine but when you add the fees and shipping.. ugh.

Nothing we can do about fees and such. And I heard from someone that the box office is not open to the public yet, so I wouldn't have been able to buy tickets there anyway.
$119 for ticket is not cheap but is not as pricey as it can get. I think I paid more than that (w/o fees added) to see Denzel Washington in The Iceman Cometh. Seeing Jersey Boys cost me I think $139 per ticket plus fees.
