Ever Have One Of Those Days?

Ever have one of those days where you wake up on the wrong side of the bed and everything just rubs you the wrong way?
...Yeah. It's been one of those days.
I'm grouchy, irritable, and just angry at pretty much everything. You know you are irritable when you even manage to irritate yourself, which I have managed to do multiple times tonight.
I'm not feeling well (which is probably contributing to my irritability) and I really wish my gynecological oncologist would get my surgery scheduled so I could get this issue dealt with once and for all. Endometriosis is making my life miserable. And on top of it, I feel like I'm getting a migraine.
Maybe I should just crawl back into bed and hibernate until this all passes.

@Srbageldog May be that is the flu epidemic now, but it's better to ask.

I'm sorry. They used to be frequent with me, but then I sort of mellowed out (taking an antidepressant helps.) But yesterday I felt ready to rip everybody's head off.

Awww I feel for you, I'm now trying to decide on surgery, leaning more to doing it now. Going thru this pain is starting to wear me down. Another problem now is hubby only has 2 days he can take off for the rest of the year already since he used 3 while he was sick. Then to finding one that I think can do it. I sure hope they get their act together for you, so you can get yours done.

@Ithink I'm sorry. I hope you are feeling better now.
I have not heard anything yet. I keep meaning to call and keep procrastinating and putting it off. I guess I'm scared about actually getting it scheduled and having to go through with it. But at the same time I want it over and done with! So, tomorrow. (Or today, as it's now after midnight.) I will make myself call, even if it's just to leave a voicemail message. I need to get the ball rolling, especially since there are events coming up within the next couple months that I would like to attend, but I feel like I can't make definite plans for anything since I'm still in limbo about surgery.

Oh no, that makes it even more difficult for you to have surgery.
I hope you're able to find someone who can do the surgery for you and work all the details out. You can't keep living in pain all the time.

I have days like that. Fortunately I am in good health. Usually a large drink of water (dehydration makes me cranky) and a walk in the great outdoors helps me make an attitude adjustment,
I need spring so I can resume my regular daily walks.

I wish I felt safe enough in my neighborhood to go walking. I used to, but the last time I went for a walk (to the park up the block from us,) I got harassed by a carload of men who threatened to kill me. So now I won't walk that way, and I will only walk with someone else.

@Srbageldog that would discourage walking. I haven't walked much lately because of the cold and the snow...but the last couple of days the edge of the road is clear enough that I can walk with running shoes and not need to put on the heavy boots. The recreational trails are not cleared of snow in the winter so they aren't much of an option this time of year.

No, everything was rubbing me the wrong way and I finally just had to step away from my computer and go lay down. I'm feeling more like my normal self today.

I had endometriosis and it's sure not a picnic in the park! It makes a woman miserable, not to mention, I couldn't go anywhere without threats of a heavy blood flow:( Once you get that surgery, things will be much better, I passed through that dark tunnel in 1990. It was terrible!

I'm sorry you also suffered with this! I am hoping that the surgery will improve things. They aren't doing a hysterectomy yet, so I might still have problems, but they will be "cleaning things up" in my abdominal cavity and taking out my tubes, which are damaged and glued to my bowel. So fingers crossed that that helps, and doesn't make things worse!

@kobesbuddy Because I'm having a lot of symptoms in connection to my bowel, we are hoping that removing the things that are glued to my bowel will alleviate the symptoms. (Plus my tubes are engorged and pose a risk for a tubal pregnancy or rupturing at some point.) I'm not sure why they won't just perform a hysterectomy while they're at it, maybe because of my age or because the insurance might not cover it if it's not absolutely necessary.

@Srbageldog Why will they take only your tubes? I don't understand how this would alleviate the endometriosis.

I feel sorry for Shawn whenever I got through perimenopause.
I remember how my mom was when she went through it.

When I get really bad and I wake up teary-eyed in the morning and start yelling at myself for being stupid then yes, back into bed and get up when the first storm passes. Hope you feel much better soon and virtual hugs.
