Wal-Mart at noon on a Sunday

It was a mad house. You would have thought they were giving out hundred dollar bills. It just reminded me why I try to avoid that store as much as possible. That People of Wal-Mart site is totally on to something.
Luckily we were in and out in about half an hour. We got what we needed for about $50 which was good. I was very happy when we got out of there though. I hope not to have to return for a long time. My husband can go by himself next time!

I have learned never to go to Wal-Mart on weekends. It is crazy. The best time to go is around 8 or 9 am on a school day when all the kids are in school and many are at jobs. Still, I try to avoid going unless I need to. Now that I am thinking about it, I have not been to our local one since late December.

As long as there are alternatives to Wally, I will continue to shop elsewhere. The only thing I've ever gotten there was a snack at an imbedded McDonalds.
