I am just starting to wonder if cab drivers have any heart these days in assisting an elderly person who is in a wheelchair get into their home.
Case in point is a social media story where a group of New York Police Department officers who were on patrol in Brooklyn came to the aid of an 85 year old man who in a wheelchair on a cold day recently.
The 85 year old man told the NYPD police officers that a taxi driver left him outside his home but the taxi driver did not have the courtesy to take the elderly man his home for some unknown reason.
The police officers act of kindness was captured on social media when they assisted the elderly man who served in the Korean War to get inside his home in Brooklyn New York.
I am sure that the story will be a huge hit on the local newscasts in the New York City market.

What kind of heartless cab driver would do something like this? Surely, he knew that elderly man needed help getting indoors!

The NYPD are so often maligned.

That is true since the media knows that bad news sells.

That is nice. You'd think a taxi driver would have been more courteous.

Why would anyone leave such a man outside? Unless they will never get old.
