Besides the 10 calls a day (including Sundays and holidays) that I get from multiple credit card companies wanting their money, to all the scam calls per day; a new one came in yesterday that I just had play along with.
Since the call came 'supposedly' from my itty-bitty city, I answered and the guy said, "Hi, this is Joe with (don't remember the brand) Security Systems." He went on and on about cameras, warnings on the cell phone, etc., and I said, "I have a security system." He said, "What kind?"
I said, "A .357, a 150-pound Akita and a 70-pound Pit Bull; does that count?" There was a pause and he said, "How's that working for you?" And I just had to say it, "Come on over and I'll show you how well it works." click

We received some disturbing spam calls a few weeks ago from a Spam company. We called the phone provider and they have now blocked the calls.

I'm able to block the calls if they are local @Angela150 , but if the number is an 800, 855, etc., (toll-free numbers), I can't do it.

Haha. Good answer. Well they are indeed annoying. I usually received a scam text not a call.

@nanette64 the drama of the scammers are usually like pretending as my family member using strange number acting like they need money urgently or load card.. something like that.

@nanette64 That’s a great answer. When they start off by asking me how I am today I give them a good gory story about having awful diahorrhea and that usually works quite effectively.

@nanette64 I know! I hate that they call from local numbers. I've even have received scam my texts. They act like your long lost friends and then try to get your info. Nice try!
