Too much of a good thing is boring. But this link will show you the blue moon phenomena all over the world. I liked it and so hope you will too
On Wednesday, much of the world saw not only a blue moon and a supermoon, but also a total lunar eclipse, all rolled into one. A blue moon is the second full moon in a month. A supermoon is a particularly close full or new moon, appearing somewhat brighter

Not sure that it was a blue moon for you : there was no blue moon in part of Oceania and Asia, because the full moon occurred on February 1st and not on January 31st due to the difference of time zones.

You are right Since it is commonly known as blue moon I chose to give it that name I have written a post here attaching the image of what I saw which was a partially eclipsed moon which had a hue of red and yellow.

@allknowing It was a fake blue moon and I read an article telling that it was not, scientifically speaking, a supermoon. The only thing left was the eclipse. You were lucky to see something in your place, the eclipse was not visible in Europe.

Some great photos there. I'm sure all these names are new- like 'supermoon' - it's just the usual moon!

All this interest in the moon. It is better than a lot of other things that are in the news. Glad you got to see a little and I know you have enjoyed researching it.

This is a rare occurrence and when one becomes a part of it that helps create a memory

@DianneN I thought this eclipse was visible from every corner of the world We too were given certain timings and during that time all what I could get was the picture of a bird perched on our water tank but when I saw on tv that people were getting to see it much later I grabbed my camera and there it was.
