Kings and Queens. That is the theme of my current music countdowns, and this is the "queen" portion, a countdown of my favorite songs with "queen" in the title. We are at #9: "Queen of My Heart" by New Model Army.
Led by vocalist/rhythm guitarist Justin Sullivan, English post punk band New Model Army regularly shows up in my music countdowns. In fact, I've even done a series of my favorite songs by the band. They are one of my all-time favorite bands, so much so that #9 is the earliest that they have ever appeared in a countdown of mine.
"Queen of My Heart" is a single from the band's 1998 album, Strange Brotherhood, the last New Model Army record featuring longtime drummer Robert Heaton (R.I.P.,) who co-wrote the song with Sullivan.
"Queen of My Heart" was a rare tender ballad from New Model Army, which has always been primarily known as a protest band. The single did not chart (the band hasn't had a charting single since 1993's "Here Comes the War,") but it's proof that the band could do something pretty when the mood struck them.
I've linked to what I think might be the official video. Hope you like it!

@teamfreak16 I should go back and check for myself. Maybe I'd then come back with 'hang on, you told a fib!'

Yeah, not quite as angry as, of say, "51'st State."

I always liked his drumming. I once had a drummer listen to him. The guy suggested that Robert's style indicated a strong marching band background.

They aren't really well known outside of England and parts of Europe.

Ah for a second there I thought you meant the band "Queen", but now I will be curious to see what you come up with
