Talk about getting a double whammy of a bad day for New England Patriots tight end Rob "Gronk" Gronkowski whose was in Minneapolis Minnesota to be with his New England Patriots teammates during the Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles this past Sunday. A report from Foxbourough Massachusetts is that the police in that same city are having an investigation about a robbery that happened on the same day as Super Bowl Sunday that the home of Rob Gronkowski was burglarized. Foxbourough Police Chief William Baker simply stated that due to the nature of the investigation, they are not releasing any details of what was stolen from the home of Gronkowski on Sunday. The only items that were released to the press that was stolen were guns and safes.

I think that happened to Von Miller the year his Broncos won the Super Bowl. But at least he won. It's just mean. Rich or not, getting robbed is personal.

@AmbiePam The price of fame is that some people will know where you live and steal items from that home.

Same thing happened to Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig who had his home broken into during the 2017 World Series.

I hate the Patriots, but Gronk rocks. I hope he gets his stuff back.

Me too since nobody should have any of their materials that they earned through hard work get stolen.

The police have witnesses to assist them to find the criminals who broke into Rob's home.

Maybe it was Jaguars revenge for the referees stealing the Jaguars chances to be in Super Bowl 52.

Wonder who could have done such a thing but of course they would have known there would be no one home perhaps. and it sounds very suspect..someone planned it and knew what he had for sure

Rob is well known in the Foxbourough area and maybe it was a group of criminals that planned to steal items from his home.
