How do you treat a disease that no one can identify? Moreover, how do you handle things when the police start asking questions about the person you had a one night stand with? That's just a little of what Samantha has to deal with after she hooks up with a stranger at Alice's party. Day by day Sam starts to change; she starts losing her fingernails and teeth, her eyes turn red, clumps of her hair start coming out and on top of all that – her super possessive mother is nagging and nitpicking her to the verge of cracking.
Even though this was supposed to be a low budget movie I thought the special effects were impressive. There are some pretty gruesome scenes that might freak out the non-seasoned folk so be prepared for some squiring and squealing. When you get to the sex scene with Riley and Samantha you really have to ask yourself one thing – if you know this psycho chick has soe weird disease why on earth would you have sex with her let alone not triple bagging it? “It kinda tingles” is not something you want to hear from someone mid-coitous.
There is a sequel to Contracted but it doesn't have the same amount of gore, blood and dead bodies. If you like movies like Infected, Condemned and Pandemic chances are you will get a couple thrills from this one.

It actually sounds pretty good. Don't know if I could talk my girlfriend into watching it, though.
