On Valentine’s Day there will be people all over the world holding hands and many who will remember and once again play that number one hit, that phenomenon The Beatles “I Want to Hold Your Hand”. The Beatles decided they wanted to do just that with their fans in America so on February 7, 1964, they boarded Pan Am Yankee Clipper Flight 101 from London Heathrow Airport and landed at Kennedy Airport in New York. This story has been told umpteen times but for true Beatle fans never grows old and like that “Groundhog Day” movie it keeps on repeating every February 7th so we can be glad that we know that we have finally awoken on February 9th.
On that legendary day, our boys The Beatles were very young men. Paul McCartney was 21, Ringo Starr 23, John Lennon 23 and George Harrison 20. The appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show and got to see thousands of lovely, screaming teenage girls shouting their love for them. They also got to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City which not many rock stars get to do. Mostly the performances there are more classical and operatic. They also performed in front of 20,000 fans at the Coliseum in Washington D.C.
At that time Beatlemania was in full bloom and most everyone was becoming a Beatles fan, Personally so many years have gone by that today when it seems that “All You Need Is Love” is the one thing that this world definitely lacks and really needs it would have been spectacular if The Beatles could come together for just one time in an awesome concert offering the world love all around. Therefore it is unfortunate that John Lennon was killed by a deranged fan and George Harrison succumbed to cancer. They will be remembered always through their music.
During their career, The Beatles had recorded 18 albums and came out with 30 Top 10 U.S. singles.
What are your thoughts on The Beatles?

Well not everyone could be a complete Beatles fan. I knew many people who were divided down the line to say between The Beatles and The Rolling Stones @just4him
