Do you see it often online? Articles that tell you to stop eating junk food? Well, it's true, they don't call it junk for no reason. High salt, sugar and fat and caffeine are all part of the big 3, Burger, Fries and Cola. If you can stop eating junk food and fast food, you can quickly loose weight, and most of it is fat any way. You will be glad that you did this eventually. But it takes lots of guts to do it. It is all too easy to succumb to the habit of the American Diet. It can be a real killer. Or you can get yourself edjumakated and learn more about the healthy diets that are not all the same and not all for you. What is best for you personally? That depends on what you are able to afford. It costs money to eat healthy food. Mostly, food that is not super rich in calories, sugar, salt and fat content with lots of extra additives, it also takes time to read the labels on things. I am reminded as I go out shopping to bring along a nice pair of reading glasses and a magnifying glass too. They are required to let you know what is in the food you buy before you decide to buy it. The first ingredients on the list of ingredients are the ones that are in highest abundance. If the first thing you see on an ingredients list of something you like to eat a lot of, look for SUGAR, SALT, and saturated fat. These will be listed first if in fact the product is abundantly full of it. Just to be helpful I have provided a quick link to the book by the writer I am referring to. I am not getting anything out of this, except knowing I am being helpful to you by letting you take a look at it yourself and you be the judge.

I'm not vegan but trying to eat more vegetarian meals with other days of fish, turkey and chicken plus limited dairy though will not give up cheese. I have too many bad habits I need to break though.

I've been adding vegetables and fruits to my meals but I have not gone for a full vegan diet yet.
