Anyone who knows me knows that I like a bargain.... I regularly use coupons and vouchers and several money back apps too. Last weekend whilst in my local supermarket I bought two packets of sausages. They were priced at £1.70 each or 2 for £3 A saving of just 40p but a saving none the less. I was buying the sausages anyway so two packets was okay to buy. It was only when I was back in the car and coming off the car park ( I was not the driver ) that I checked my bill .....I do usually check it before I leave the store ! I realised that the offer had not been done and I had been charged the full price. I went in today and checked the price ...still on the offer...I went to customer services ....and a snotty woman went to check...she came back telling me it was OTHER sausages on offer not the ones I had. I explained it WAS the ones I had and there was a label right next to the product. She said not so I thanked her and said I would check. She replied " you go and do that !" I knew I was right as I had already checked but I trundled off picked up a pack of the same sausages and took a photo of the offer label .... I went back to customer services and showed her the sausages and the photo and she replied " Oh yes, I can sort that for you !" Funny that she didn't need to go and check again ....she already knew I was right and was just being awkward I think. Anyway, she gave me my money back so I was happy with that. I will remember to check in store from now on !
